About The Modern Mystery School

As a Guide, Healer, and Teacher in The Modern Mystery School, I wrote this article to address some fundamental topics and questions that my clients or potential clients might have. This article is broken into three sections:

1. What is a Mystery School?

WHAT IS A MYSTERY SCHOOL?

I’ve been asked by potential clients: “Why is it called a mystery school?” Or “what’s the mystery?” Sometimes people become skeptical because they hear the word “mystery” and automatically think there is something creepy about that.

The truth is the mystery schools are here on planet Earth to help humanity unravel the greatest mysteries of the universe. By working towards deeper spiritual truths, it helps us live a life of higher purpose and more joy. We ask ourselves questions that can be studied for an entire lifetime and never get to the bottom of them. That’s what makes it a mystery!

The types of questions we ask ourselves include, but are not limited to:
• Who am I?
• Where did I come from?
• What is my purpose?

There are seven authentic ancient mystery schools on the planet. What differentiates the seven ancient mystery schools from other organizations calling themselves “mystery schools” is the authenticity of an unbroken lineage that dates back to ancient times.

The mystery schools have held the secrets of God, the universe, and the keys to true spiritual power since the beginning of time. Within the Modern Mystery School we have a “Path of Progression” to assist those who want to deepen their spiritual understanding. It is a framework that allows willing students to continue studying and receiving initiations in a fashion that has been proven to advance a person’s spiritual growth.

The lineage of the Modern Mystery School is the lineage of King Salomon. It has persisted over several millennia through the ancient tradition of sharing knowledge from teacher to student, affirmed by the holy process of initiation.

ABOUT THE LINEAGE OF KING SALOMON

Lineage is a key factor in determining the authenticity, power, and authority of a mystery school. The lineage of King Salomon is the lineage held and taught by The Modern Mystery School. The unbroken lineage can be verified and traced back to King Salomon himself, over 3,000 years ago. However, the mystery school traditions are much older than that, and some of the teachings go back at least 8,000 years to Hermes.

During his time, King Salomon brought together healers, shamans, and medicine people from indigenous tribes all over the planet. They studied and practiced together in his temple, which was really a full city, for 20-40 years. And they tested the healings from all over the world. King Salomon wanted to create a universal system of healings and teachings. Meaning it worked for all people, all the time, regardless of genetics or location. From these decades of work, we have the most comprehensive system of healings and empowerment on the planet. These are the King Salomon healing modalities.

King Salomon knew there would be a time in history when everyday people would be ready for these teachings, activations, and healings. He knew there would be a time where people would awaken and they would need tools. That time is now. His purpose was to share these healings and the mystery school teachings with all.

In this current age, The Modern Mystery School is the only one of the seven ancient mystery schools that is open to the public. The integrity of our lineage is of utmost importance. Our lineage holders (the Third Order) are responsible for keeping the methods of the lineage pure and free from human distortion or pollution.

In addition, we preserve this lineage through Empower Thyself Initiation and further stages of initiation on the path of progression. We also have annual professional re-certification for practitioners to uphold the quality of services provided. Any practitioner listed through The Modern Mystery School website is currently up to date in their professional certifications.

IS THE MODERN MYSTERY SCHOOL A CULT?

All of the above being said, I think it’s important to head-on address a topic that one could easily find with a Google search. The Modern Mystery School has been (falsely) accused of being a cult. I emphatically declare that this is untrue.

There has never been a cult in history that has helped people become more empowered, helped them heal, and become stronger. Our school encourages people to seek their own answers within, and then teaches them how to do so. Students exercise free will in every decision related to their involvement with the organization. If we choose to continue, it’s because the tools bear positive fruit in our lives: more joy, freedom, clarity, peace, better health, and so on.

My own direct experience was all the proof I needed to be certain that these accusations were absurd. Yet, as these accusations became public, I was so impressed with how the leaders of the school and my colleagues responded.

They did not do what organizations often do when they are publicly accused of wrongdoing. They did not cower. They did not make an empty apology. (Because there’s no need to apologize when you haven’t done anything wrong. And a false apology lacks integrity!) They did not simply sit by and wait for it to “go away.” They fought back! They fought back with one of the best weapons the light has against the dark: the truth! Because in the light, the truth will remain, and the lies will shatter.

In response to the false accusations, hundreds of students posted online about their positive experiences with The Modern Mystery School and shared heartfelt thanks for how much it has changed their life for the better. Dozens of my colleagues publicly countered accusations of events that supposedly took place while they were present. They said things like, “I was there! That simply did NOT happen!”

Founder Gudni Gudnason, in the midst of a battle with cancer, kept working tirelessly to pass on as much knowledge as possible while ill. Our lineage holders and leaders kept working, harder than ever, even while having their reputations attacked. The leaders of The Modern Mystery School are the most dedicated people of the highest integrity that I have ever met. They are living proof that the tools of our lineage do indeed work!

This is why discernment is key. We live in a society where mere accusations are often accepted as fact. This is quite frankly a dangerous society to live in! Those who have an agenda to get more clicks for their tabloid are sometimes believed over those working selflessly to serve others. This should give pause to anyone with critical thinking skills and anyone who values justice and fairness.

If there is selfishness in the work we do as practitioners in The Modern Mystery School, it is this: we know that each person who heals makes the world better. And we know that we are all connected. One person at a time, starting with ourselves, we work to make this world better – because that’s the world we want to live in!

In the spirit of this famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt, we should put a lot more trust in those who have actually entered the arena and have dared greatly by doing so.
